Seattle–Tacoma International Airport, also known as Sea–Tac Airport, is located between the cities of Seattle and Tacoma in Washington State.
It is one of the United States' top ten busiest airports serving more than thirty million airline passengers each year.
The airport serves the Seattle–Tacoma–Bellevue metropolitan statistical area, which with more than four million people, is the 15th largest metropolitan statistical area in the United States.
Sea-Tac Airport is the largest airport serving commercial airlines in the Puget Sound area. With this amount of volume of passengers, travelers need to plan their Sea-Tac airport parking in advance.
Sea–Tac Airport and the surrounding area has a variety of different parking options for airline passengers.
From as little as $15 a day with taxes and fees, travelers can park at more than a dozen different private parking lots within a mile of the airport with 24–hour airport shuttle service.
On–site parking at the airport offers convenience but can get expensive at up $42 per day for Terminal Direct Parking, or even more with Valet Parking.
In addition to secure outdoor parking and free airport shuttles, private off–site airport parking lots may offer additional services to their customers. These services may include mechanical services, oil changes, car washes, and covered parking.

Drivers waiting to pick up arriving airline passengers at Sea–Tac Airport can park in Terminal Direct Parking at a rate of $7 per hour or General Airport Parking at a rate of $6 for an hour.
You could also wait for free for up to one–half hour at a nearby cell phone waiting lot.
The airport does not allow drivers picking up airline passengers to park on the roadway that provides access to the main terminal. Only brief stops in designated areas for unloading and loading of passengers and luggage is permitted.
In additional to congestion, parked cars in front of the main terminal present a safety hazard. Drivers leaving cars parked in front of the airport will be subject to a $20 parking fee and $150 tow bill.
